USB MTP mode selection

To make all device content visible, a correct USB mode must be selected.
Instructions vary based on the device.

Choose instructions link corresponding to device from the top of the page.

To check Android version, open device Settings, find About phone and check the Android version field.

Sony Android 3.0 - 5.x

  1. Connect the device to computer with a USB cable. If Sony software installation dialog opens automatically, dismiss it by tapping Skip button.
  1. Swipe down from top of the device screen to open Android notification panel. MTP USB mode is currently enabled.
